Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- 1-2 years of general warehouse experience preferred but not limited to.
- Having a basic understanding of math for inventory and reports.
- Using basic computer programs like Excel.
- Experience with forklifts as well as Hubtex or other industrial equipment.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees to ensure internal customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work alone or with limited supervision while ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Ability to function as a team player and demonstrate positive work behavior with employees and management.
- Attention to detail required, to ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Working knowledge of inventory and production standards.
- Legible handwriting and ability to follow written instructions accurately.
- Working understanding of standard product flow.
- Must be flexible and adaptive.
Preferred Requirements: Experience that extends past traditional forklifts such as operation of Hubtext or other industrial equipment. Basic understanding of math for inventory and reports. Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
Summary of Duties:
This position will support both the Warehouse with both administrative responsibilities as well as with the physical management and movement of materials on the floor.
What You'll Do:
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Assist with raw material inventory and cycle counts.
- Perform all department procedures for proper accuracy and quality.
- Assist in completing the monthly safety inspection.
- Miscellaneous duties as directed by department management.
- Responsible for unloading trucks of raw materials.
- Place raw material (cooper or aluminum) into its designated location the racks.
- Pull raw materials from their designated locations to be used in accordance to plating and fabrication.
- Transport materials as needed from warehouse to the plating or fabrication area and to and from other locations.
- Perform all department procedures for proper accuracy and quality.
- Assist in completing the monthly safety inspection.
- Miscellaneous duties as directed by department management.
- Operation of a forklift.
Additional Duties Administrative Duties:
- Assist with administrative responsibilities in warehouse.
- Receive work orders and assign POs for shipping.
- Receive material into inventory for incoming trucks and enter costs for required customers.
- Create and issue picklists.
- Monitor stock levels for autoissue to keep lines flowing.
- Print and tag trace labels.
- Transfer material to stock locations in system.
- Enter and stock returned materials.
- Help maintain and continuously improve 5s process.
