Requirements:

Preference given to applicants with Class D or better wastewater license.  Will consider trainee applicants.  Trainees must be able to obtain a Class D license within six months by passing the SCDHEC Class D operator’s test.  (Basic math, chemistry and biology as related to wastewater operations) All applicants must possess a valid drivers license, be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening , a satisfactory work history review, and have a high school diploma or GED. 

Job Description:

This position is responsible for operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and wastewater system.  Duties include operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant, sewer outfall lines, and lift stations.
