Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with some experience in wastewater plant operations; or any combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Must have a Wastewater Plant Operator D certification. Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license.
Under occasional supervision, performs responisble technical work in the operation of the wastewater treatment plant. Work involves handling the responsibility of assisting higher-grade operators in the performance of duties necessary for the proper and efficent operations of the wastewater treatment plant. Reports to the Wastewater Treatment Superintendent.
