Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with nine to twelve months of experience in water plant operations; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Must have a Water Plant Operator D certification. Must be able to work rotating weekends and some holidays. Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license.

Job Description:

Under occasional supervision, performs technical work in the operation of the water treatment plant. Work involves performing the necessary adjustments, maintenance, and testing to ensure that the water treatment plant produces adequate quality and quantity of water. Reports to the Water Treatment Superintendent.
