Required:

  • Proven work experience with WordPress
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
  • Must possess great computer skills in 100% Mac environment
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Creative self-starter who works well on deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make key decisions while using sound judgment
  • Very skilled at content design
  • Possession of artistic flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Hands on experience with MS Office, InDesign, Photoshop or other publishing tools

Job Description:

Designs and implements attractive and functional websites for our clients. Responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and updates. Provides strong editing and layout skills, strict attention to detail, and outstanding organizational, project management, file-organization and problem-solving skills on a day-to-day basis to our web department. Collaborates closely with the Website Project Manager and Website Project Editor and other key team members to ensure high quality content is implemented, based on best practices, standards and specifications. Publishes new content. Visualizes layout and takes action. Adheres to SEO, social media, copyright and privacy regulations. Follows a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time. Troubleshoots problems as they arise with the Website Project Manager.
