Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have experience working with live electrical components
  • Certification or credential in related fields from local career & technology center and/or local technical college.
  • Some manufacturing experience preferred. Candidates with experience in electrical testing are preferred
  • High levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills.
  • High levels of reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Should be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work time as necessary.
  • Quality auditing and inspection experience (mechanical and electrical inspection). 
  • Experienced with blueprint reading and Bills of Materials. 
  • Use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, scales, torque wrenches, optical comparators).
  • Familiarity with sheet-metal fabrication, thread tapping, riveting, soldering, spot welding, electrical wiring and mechanical assembly. 
Job Description:
  • Conduct performance tests and factory functional tests on products strictly in accordance with national standards, test methods, testing procedures, technical bulletins, and non-standard requirements to ensure the completion of the testing of units.
  • Complete performance tests and factory functional tests for various testing units according to the testing plan and production schedule.
  • Promptly report various test anomalies to the testing supervisor, R&D engineers, inspectors, and product quality engineers, and follow up on the resolution of abnormal issues.
  • Perform debugging and maintenance during the unit testing process, monitor and maintain daily monitoring parameters of the units.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of operating equipment, regularly calibrate testing equipment, and adhere to 6S management requirements.
  • Identify hazards and environmental factors in the workplace, adhere to relevant operating control methods, and propose improvement suggestions
  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to, assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, and utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Experience operating electronic test equipment
  • Ability to read and analyze schematics
