Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred OR successful completion of an in-company, three-year training program preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of electrical experience
  • Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics and diagrams
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory and associated principles, materials and equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate a hand and power tools associated with electrical work
  • Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
  • Exhibits extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team
  • Able to work overtime and extended hours as needed
Job Description:

Airsys a growing manufacturing plant in Greer, SC is now hiring for a Production/Assembly Associate.

No nights! No Weekends! Monday – Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job
  2. Reads electrical blueprints and performs electrical wiring tasks based on blueprints, electrical layout diagrams and models of electrical components 
  3. Determines terminal block component specifications and creates terminal blocks according to terminal block diagrams
  4. Creates wiring diagrams for electrical control cabinets and connecting units based on electrical blueprints
  5. Adheres to manufacturing work instructions and quality requirements
  6. Performs quality checks on electrical components at certain points throughout the operations
  7. Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area
  8. Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 30 to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
