Piedmont Tech PBL Attends National Leadership Conference, Wins Awards
Piedmont Technical College Phi Beta Lambda students recently attended the PBL National Leadership Conference in Atlanta. The conference allowed students to compete in leadership events, share their successes and learn new ideas about shaping the future of their career through workshops and exhibits. Computer technology student John Barton from Ninety Six took first place in the computer concepts event. Coronicca Oliver, computer technology instructor, was also recognized as the Phi Beta Lambda Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser in South Carolina. Participation in the national competitive events requires a first or second place result in competitive events in each of the participating FBLA-PBL organization in each state.
