Piedmont Technical College Signs Agreement with Webster University
Piedmont Technical College and Webster University recently signed an articulation agreement that will allow students to begin their studies at PTC, and then transfer to Webster.
This partnership will offer Piedmont Technical College students more options as they prepare for careers. The agreement will provide a seamless transition for those who would like to begin their college careers closer to home. Because PTC is an open-admissions institution, it will also offer students who may require some academic preparation an alternative for admission to Webster University.
Students transferring to Webster University may choose one of the baccalaureate degree completion programs at any campus in South Carolina, elect to study at the main campus in St. Louis, elect to study under one of the online baccalaureate degree completion programs or elect to study at one of the worldwide campuses.
Requirements for participation are the same as with any transfer student wishing to attend Webster University. Students must have earned an associate degree or have a minimum of 64 hours completed to transfer and must submit an admissions application and all other standard paperwork in order to be considered.
“The options available for our students through this agreement are limitless,” said Dr. Jennifer Wilbanks, associate vice president for academic affairs and off-campus. “This agreement will provide students with a direct pathway from PTC to Webster University in their choice of curriculum, make a stronger connection to the University and offer significant financial savings on the total cost of earning a bachelor’s degree.”
