Scholarships Awarded at Luncheon

Scholarships were awarded recently at a luncheon honoring donors and recipients.

 

 

Two Piedmont Technical College veterinary technology students were recently awarded the Wag’n Walk Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. This scholarship is available to a student majoring in the Veterinary Tech program that shows academic achievement and financial need.

 

 

 

 

 

Piedmont Technical College student and Greenwood resident Lanina Goode (left) was recently awarded the Sterilite Corporation Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. Goode, an associate degree nursing student, is congratulated by Jeff Hendershot from Sterilite Corporation. This scholarship is available to Sterilite employees and members of their immediate family from Laurens and Greenwood who show academic achievement and financial need.

 

 

 

 

 

Piedmont Technical College student and Greenwood resident Kayla Temples (right) received the Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Center Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. Temples, an associate degree nursing student, is congratulated by Rosalie Stevenson, interim dean of nursing. The scholarship is awarded annually to surgical technology students or nursing students who are program ready or near program ready, exhibiting academic achievement and financial need.

 

 

 

 

 

Piedmont Technical College student and Greenwood resident Latonya Ross (right) was recently awarded the Lucille Brooks Memorial Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. Ross, a human services major, is congratulated by Dr. Ray Brooks, president of Piedmont Tech. This scholarship, established to honor the memory of Lucille Brooks, is available to a single parent showing financial need and academic achievement.

 

 

 

 

 

Piedmont Technical College student and Greenwood resident Anne Hyde was recently awarded the Capsugel Scholarship at the annual scholarship luncheon. Hyde, an administrative office technology student, is congratulated by Phil Vickery, director of operations at Capsugel. Awarded annually, the scholarship is based on academic achievement and financial need.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Piedmont Technical College student and Batesburg resident Jacqulyne Myers recently received the Paul DeLoache Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. Myers, a pharmacy technology student, is congratulated by Fran Wiley, executive director of the Piedmont Technical College Foundation. The scholarship is awarded annually to a Saluda resident and is based on academic achievement and financial need.
