Spring 2019 Graduates Recognized for Academic Achievement
At Piedmont Technical College’s recent spring commencement exercises, outstanding students from each of the college’s seven supporting counties were honored for academic achievement. The ceremony took place in the Medford Family Event Center on the Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood.
Abbeville County student Ashland Linker, left, was recognized for academic achievement by PTC Area Commissioner Rufus Sherard. Linker graduated with an associate degree in diversified agriculture.
Three Greenwood County students were honored for maintaining high academic success by PTC Area Commissioner Chuck Graves, far left. They are L-R after Mr. Graves: Catherine Stokes, who graduated with an associate degree in business administration; Amber Todd, who graduated with an associate degree in computer technology, network concentration; and Corey Boyter, who graduated with an associate degree in electronic engineering technology.
Laurens County student Andre Singleton Jr, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success by PTC Area Commissioner George Piersol. Singleton graduated with an associate degree in computer technology, programming concentration.
Laurens County student Katlin Owens, right, was honored for maintaining high academic success by PTC Area Commissioner Richard Cain. Owens graduated with an associate in arts degree.
McCormick County student T'Laysha Creswell, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success by PTC Area Commissioner Cherry Brown. Creswell, a dual enrollment student with McCormick High School's Middle College, graduated with an associate in arts degree.
Newberry County student Judith Caldwell, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success by PTC Area Commissioner George Piersol. Caldwell graduated with an associate in science degree and an associate in arts degree.
