Students Receive Countywide Recognition at Spring Graduation

At Piedmont Technical College’s recent spring commencement exercises, outstanding students from each of the college’s seven supporting counties were honored for academic achievement. 

Abbeville County student Keaton Flowers, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Rufus Sherard. Flowers is a mechatronics technology graduate.

Greenwood County students Zachary Hemann, left, Stephen Vickery, right, was honored for maintaining high academic success. They were recognized by PTC Area Commissioner YJ Ahn, center. Hemann and Vickery are associate degree graduates. 

Laurens County student Clifton Boyd, right, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Richard Cain. Boyd is a building construction technology graduate.  

McCormick County student Nathaniel Mason, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Cherry Brown. Mason is a Dual Enrollment associate degree graduate. 

Newberry County student Colin Capell, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner George Piersol. Capell is a veterinary technology graduate. 

Saluda County student Brandon Tarlton, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Bill Whitfield. Tarlton is a mechatronics technology graduate.
