Piedmont Technical College (PTC) is extending its No Cost for Tuition Option through Summer 2023. 

Meet the PTC 2022-23 Presidential Ambassadors

Each year, Piedmont Technical College (PTC) officials hand-pick some of the college’s most promising students to serve as Presidential Ambassadors to represent the college at campus events, provide campus tours, and speak about their experiences to various audiences. This year’s 17 Ambassadors hail from a variety of backgrounds and represent many program areas. 

PTC Students Learn Law Enforcement Offers Variety of Opportunities

There are many directions a Criminal Justice major can take after completing their course of study at Piedmont Technical College (PTC). That variety was very much in evidence at the Criminal Justice Program’s recent Professional Development Day in Greenwood. From prosecutor to corrections officer, sheriff to SLED agent and beyond, representatives from several key SC law enforcement agencies offered insights into their respective everyday worlds.

Academic Honor Students Recognized for 2022 Summer Term

Piedmont Technical College students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2022 summer term have earned inclusion on the President’s List. To be named to the list, students must be full time and earn a term GPA of 4.00. These students will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the college president.

Tool and Trade Expo Offers Rare Insight and Opportunity

A first-of-its-kind experience featuring the best offerings from professional toolmakers and the industries they serve is coming to Piedmont Technical College (PTC) in Greenwood. The PTC Tool and Trade Expo will be open to the public from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Medford Family Event Center and the O’Dell Upstate Center for Manufacturing Excellence. The two sites are across the street from one another.
