Meeting the workforce training needs of business and industry is a major part of Piedmont Technical College’s mission. PTC’s Continuing Education Division specializes in offering a wide range of customized training programs on a regular basis.
More than 350 Piedmont Technical College students and alumni recently took advantage of the college’s 32nd annual Employers Day. Representatives from more than 50 businesses, industries and service agencies were on hand to offer information about current and future job opportunities.
Piedmont Technical College has partnered with Scotts Miracle Gro to offer apprenticeship opportunities for students in the horticulture technology and diversified agriculture programs.
Piedmont Technical College recently hosted area guidance counselors and career development specialists for an in-service workshop. The event drew professionals from across the seven counties.
D2L will be down for extended maintenance and a major upgrade from 7:30 a.m. on May 8 until 12 p.m. on May 12. The system will be fully operational by noon on May 12 and all spring semester courses will be viewable by students until midnight Sunday, May 18. Students may check their grades in Pathway starting May 8. Pathway will not be down.
