Before Lynn Rogers got home from her job interview with ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, an email offering her the position already had landed in her in-box. A 2020 graduate of Piedmont Technical College’s Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Certificate Program, Rogers has been working full time at ZF for about a year now and is proud to be among the female faces in a profession where they once were scarce. 

PTC to Hold ‘Instant Admission Day’ on Dec. 8 in Greenwood

Piedmont Technical College (PTC) will hold an “Instant Admission Day” for the spring semester on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at the Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood Enrollment Center. Participants can get accepted on the spot and begin moving closer to their career goals. 

PTC Partners with School Districts to Strengthen Regional Career Specialist Role

This month, Piedmont Technical College (PTC) and the Western Piedmont Education Consortium (WPEC) began a partnership to strengthen the linkage between high school students, employers, and postsecondary pathways—ultimately to help students better connect with a career path earlier in their studies and with good jobs after graduation. 

Pay $0 for Classes at Piedmont Tech

There are a lot of great jobs available in the region. Many of these opportunities require a college education or advanced training. For that reason, Piedmont Technical College (PTC) is fully removing the tuition cost barrier for current and future students who enroll through summer 2022.
